September 2: Monkeypox Vaccination Clinic

Appointments are required.

The JYYNEOS vaccine has been approved for the prevention of monkeypox in people at high risk of monkeypox infection.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Due to the limited supply of vaccines, only people who meet the following criteria can register for an appointment.

  • Gay, bisexual, or other born male who had sexual contact with another born male in the past 3 months, OR Trans or non-cisgender people (regardless of birth sex) who have sex with people who identify as gay, bi, or otherwise MSM in the past 3 months,
  • AND at least one of the following risk criteria*:
    • Multiple or anonymous sexual partners in the past 3 months
    • History of early syphilis or gonorrhea within the previous year
    • Methamphetamine use in the past 3 months
    • Attendance at a public bath, public sex venue, or group sex (sex involving >3 people at the same time) in the past 3 months
    • Being homeless/unstable (including living in a shelter, car or gathering place; living with friends or relatives; couch surfing) in the past 3 months
    • Be incarcerated currently or within the past 3 months
    • Exchanging sex for money, drugs, or other purposes in the past 3 months
    • Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander (NHOPI), Asian, Native, or Native American/Alaska Native

These criteria may change in the future as vaccine availability fluctuates or as we learn more about populations at risk for monkeypox virus infection.
